Great news! I’ve been selected as one of the Businesswomen of the Year for 2023 by the Tampa Bay Business Journal!

It’s an incredible honor for me to be included among these incredible women. It’s a validation of everything we do at Chargebacks911, and of our hardworking staff who consistently bring their expertise, enthusiasm, and passion with them to work every day.

Driven By a Mission

At Chargebacks911, we’re dedicated to uncovering threats and developing innovative strategies and technologies to fight back against fraud. I am exceedingly proud of our company and all that we have accomplished in the last decade.

That said, my personal mission is to continue building upon philanthropic efforts on behalf of the company. This is what really makes everything we do at Chargebacks911 so personally rewarding.

That’s why I’m also happy to announce that this year, Chargebacks911 is set to donate to our 300th charity in the Tampa Bay area through our Take Charge for Charity initiative, where we donate weekly to different charities within our community.

Our employees nominate each charity, so it’s an exciting and rewarding experience to invest in organizations that are meaningful to us and are doing fantastic work. Additionally, we’re looking to set a record this year with the total number of students who graduate from our Paid for Grades program. With this program, students, mentors, and schools can earn money for students who improve their GPA and readability level.

About TBBJ & the Businesswoman of the Year Award

The Tampa Bay Business Journal is the premier business publication in the Tampa Bay region, itself one of the biggest media markets in the Southeastern US. Since opening their doors in 1981, TBBJ has featured hundreds of leaders in the community and remains one of Central Florida’s most trusted sources of business news.

As they describe the award online, BusinessWoman of the Year is “one of TBBJ’s most anticipated and coveted honors, as it continues to boast some of the most dynamic and influential business women in Tampa Bay.”

It’s my privilege to be one of this year’s 29 honorees. At the event, I was able to share the stage with some amazing women, and both share my experiences as well as learn from those of others.

As a woman in such a complex, predominantly male-dominated field, it’s refreshing to see so many leaders being acknowledged for their contributions to their communities. I am constantly in awe of my fellow nominees, and can only hope that the next generation of businesswomen is equally inspired by our example!
