The 2021 International Business Awards honor world leaders among various categories including organizational performance, products and services, innovations, executives, management teams, and more. In addition to celebrating achievements in every major industry in the world, they are also known for calling attention to the accomplishments of women in business.

That’s one of the reasons why I am truly honored to have been included among so many well-deserving recipients this year. To have won gold is icing on the cake!

It would be an understatement to say that the last eighteen months have been difficult for everyone, in both a personal and a professional sense. We could never have predicted the many challenges we’ve faced as a company during the Covid-19 outbreak. As I look back on the last two years, though, I realize how much we have to be thankful for.

Despite having to navigate through the uncertainties of the pandemic, Chargebacks911 saw consistent growth and innovation. In fact, we even managed a strong rollout of our new subsidiary brand, Fi911. This was only possible, though, because of every individual who has poured their hard work and dedication into this organization.

Always Challenging the Status Quo

When I first started Chargebacks911, I intended it to be a side hustle. I still had a full-time job as an eCommerce merchant at the time.

What I didn’t realize was just how many other merchants were experiencing the same chargeback woes as I was. I never imagined that we’d be where we are now: a decade later, operating in 87 countries with 45,000 active clients!

Since launching Chargebacks911, it has been my goal to constantly push for change and make the payments environment a better place through innovation. Throughout the years, I’ve had the opportunity to build a team of likeminded individuals who are just as passionate about payments and fintech, and because of that we’ve been able to introduce incredible new solutions to the market.

We were the first global company fully dedicated to mitigating chargeback risk and eliminating chargeback fraud. Even more, we’re also responsible for creating the most effective strategy for helping businesses maximize revenue through chargeback management.

Giving Back to the Community

In addition to Chargebacks911’s boundary-challenging tools and strategies, we’ve had incredible opportunities to give back as well.

I’ve always been a firm believer in “putting your money where your mouth is.” That’s why we participate in a weekly charity donation, nominated by team members, and were able to continue our efforts throughout the height of the pandemic with donations aimed toward those who were most vulnerable and at-risk in the community.

To us, it’s more than just what we do, it’s about who we inspire and how we make a difference. That’s why I’m so honored to be named as the Executive Hero of the Year for 2021—and why I’m even more excited to share this award with all the amazing team at Chargebacks911!
