I’m deeply honored to share that I’ve been named CEO of the Year at the 2025 Women in Governance, Risk, and Compliance Awards!
This recognition means more to me than I can adequately express in words.
The Women in GRC Awards celebrate exceptional female leaders who are driving innovation and shaping industry standards. They recognize women who champion positive change in their fields. To be counted among such distinguished leaders is both humbling and inspiring.
The CEO of the Year award, in particular, recognizes visionary leadership and exceptional results. It honors executives who inspire others through their work and advocacy. And, I think that receiving this recognition validates the path we’ve taken at Chargebacks911.
A Journey Born From Necessity
I founded Chargebacks911 to address a critical gap in the payments industry. Merchants faced escalating chargeback rates without effective solutions. Traditional approaches weren’t keeping pace with evolving fraud tactics. Technology-driven solutions were desperately needed.
Our mission was clear from the start. We would help merchants combat friendly fraud and reduce dispute rates. We would leverage technology to create scalable, effective solutions. Most importantly, we would treat merchant success as our own success.
The payments industry presented unique challenges for a female founder. But these challenges strengthened my resolve to succeed. They reinforced the importance of diverse leadership in financial services.
A Team Achievement
While this award bears my name, it represents our entire team’s dedication. Every member of Chargebacks911 has contributed to our success. Our analysts, developers, account managers, and support staff drive our innovation daily.
Our collaborative culture sets us apart in the industry. We believe diverse perspectives lead to better solutions. We value every team member’s contribution equally. This shared purpose has been fundamental to our growth.
The award also reflects our clients’ trust and partnership. Merchants worldwide have embraced our solutions. Their feedback has shaped our evolution. Their success stories motivate our continued innovation.
Looking Forward
This recognition energizes me for the challenges ahead. The payments landscape continues evolving rapidly, and new payment methods bring new dispute complexities. Merchants need partners who understand these dynamics.
We remain committed to innovation in dispute management. We’ll continue investing in technology and talent, and keep advocating for fair, balanced solutions that benefit all stakeholders.
To my fellow women in payments and finance: I hope I can provide some encouragement. Our industry needs your perspectives and leadership. The challenges are real, but so are the opportunities.
Thank you to the Women in GRC Awards committee for this incredible honor, and to our merchant partners for trusting us with your success. Most importantly, thank you to our team for making this recognition possible.
The journey continues, and I couldn’t be more excited about what lies ahead!
